Man arrested after reception hall fight | Crime

More than two dozen police officers were called to a South Salt Lake events center after a fight broke out early Saturday morning.

Police responded to a fight outside a reception center located near 2700 S and 300 E at around 2:30 a.m. Officials say the fight that involved more than a dozen people started in the reception hall and moved outside.

No one sustained serious injuries from the fight, but police found a gun shell casing in the parking lot.

Police arrested Nathan Donnie Begay in connection with the altercation. They say he held a gun to a victim's chest. Begay is a multiple offender and was on parole.
